Realy good kayak
At first about the good thinks:1. it is stable enough.2. it is lightweight.3. it is comfortable enough.bad things (or some things i don't like):1. no alternative colours.2. the kayak is not very suitable to be packed into the rucksack.3. barebone is optional and is not included in the package. So, now my impressions after using it.It is realy easy to inflate and deflate it. If you using a air pomp - just a few minutes to be prepared to go. Without it... just little bit longer. It takes 136 kg (or 500 lbs), according to description. For average person I think it's enough, if you don't plan more that tree days trip. I tried it for one day floating down the stream. So I take a standard military 3 days rucksack on board and placed it straight after the seat. It was good idea, cause my back got a stable support :). And one more think - I placed folded bag of the kayak under the seat on the kayak's backbone. It helped a lot, cause let me stay comfortable all the day. When I tried it without folded bag under the seat... you know... it was not good feeling. However, I would suggest to by optional bare-bone for this kayak (actually I can't understood why it is optional, just a way to make more money from customers... I had reviewed comment, that in some cases there is no need to use bare-bone. But I think there just a few occasions when bare-bone would not be useful. It is not as quick as plastic kayaks on straights, but on the curves in the small streams it makes turns quicker. The manufacturer claim it is as good as plastic ones, but it's not 100 percent truth. It have some advantages, but disadvantages are present as well - it is slower and it is more vulnerable of some sharp objects (e.g. sharp edged or barbed wire). It's still not possible to speak about the strength and quality of materials, but from the first impression it is good.p.s. I have tried it in harsh conditions and kayak passed it. There where small stream full of trees, beaver dams, shoals, etc. No serious damage was done to kayak. So, I thinks it's reliable enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars KAYAK ATOMICO
Reviewed in Spain on June 12, 2023

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality and durability

My wife and I wanted to purchase kayaks to travel with - Florida, Georgian Bay, cottage etc... We both drive compact cars and are not comfortable putting a kayak(s) on the roof especially on long drives to Florida. I spent several weeks researching inflatable kayaks. Based on several factors like performance, durability, price and transportability we settled on the Advanced Elements Advanced Frame Kayak and the Sport version as well. We couldn't be happier. The construction and materials used are excellent. The performance of the kayak is very good, not quite as fast as a rigid hull kayak but still very good. Tracking is quite good but does improve a little once I added the "Backbone" accessory which I highly recommend. It adds more rigidity and for larger people (I'm 6'3" and 220lbs) this is a performance upgrade as it keeps the kayak from bowing slightly in the middle. Lighter people, under 200lbs will have less of an issue. I am looking at getting the dropstitch floor to try that out. Stability is excellent as I carry expensive photography equipment and after the first trip I was not concerned with tipping. The biggest surprise was how easy it is to pack everything back into the storage bags. Kayak, floor and seat all fit back in quite well.
We have had many people come up to us and ask questions about the Kayaks. On one trip to Georgian Bay people could not believe that we transported two 10' kayaks plus accessories inside a Mini Cooper. This has been a fantastic experience that has opened all kinds of new opportunities to explore the outdoors from the water.
