So far so good. I'll list pros and cons.Pros:CheapDurableClear reticleCommon sense placement of adjustmentsReticle brightness intensity adjustableAA battery makes it easy to replaceEasy on offIR attachment is a nice touch (especially on a budget NVRS)Cons:HeavyA lot of black dots in the tube (see pictures)Outdoor use only it appears...inside environment is too reflective and all the black dots show upIR effective range is MAYBE 50 yards. Past that it won't help much.My takeaway with this NVRS is that you get what you pay for. Although with this you get a little more than you pay for. A functional Gen1 NVRS that won't break the bank. If you want ultra clarity, long range, and perfectly machined night vision you'll have to pay for it (upwards of 3k). If you want an effective NVRS (night vision rifle scope) out to 100 yards this is a perfect fit. Plus, Amazon warehouse had them listed for around 270 last time I looked. Can't beat that. I hope this helps.P.S. I need to figure out how to add pictures (this is one of very few reviews I've ever done)

4.0 out of 5 stars Great units
Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2018
Great value. Can see and shoot under moonlight out to 75 ~ 100yds with decent clarity. FoV somewhat limited but hey, we're not doing panoramic photography with it. OK here's a few tips. To sight in the NV optic you alter the adjustment toggles looking through the scope so that the cross hairs move towards your last shot. This the same method as for most digital NVs. One does not adjust the toggles as if for a day scope. Next, the QD clam is actually quite good. It holds zero, and one can adjust it by closing the rail clam with the scope held in the other hand and dialing in the X nut that is released. Finally, check the drop at the rear of the scope as the clamp may have it touching the rail, which puts undo pressure on the sensitive electronics housing. I shaved the rail slightly and "bingo" a perfect fit. I'm impressed so much with the value/quality I ended up buying a second unit. Oh, the rifles are FN FAL (.308), and SKS 7.62x39. After about 200+ rounds through each, ... no problems with either unit.
